I’d take the HP. Those 2 gigs of RAM will come in handy in a year or two (right now nobody really needs more than 5 gigs unless they’re doing something really demanding like 3D rendering or something), 500 extra gigs on the hard drive is always nice, and $250 extra dollars in the wallet is doubly always nice.

If you’re a gamer, you might want to research more into the benchmarks of the two video cards, but you don’t seem like you are – in which case the difference between the two of them is negligible.
